Are we ever happy?

When we are

young (Ages 2-11) we complain about showers, bedtimes, snacks we cant have before dinner, not getting the toy we want and we pout and cry and throw tantrums

as pre teen/teenagers(12-18)We argue about curfews, not having the right car, always trying to convince your parents that so and so can do it why cant we, dressing the way you want to dress, not having money, having a job an believing that we are entitled to do what we want

young adults 18-21, if we havent moved out we threaten that we are, we bicker about having bills, stress about school, stress about relationships and friends,

as adults 22-30, we are unhappy with relationships, unhappy with jobs, still stressing about bills still stressing about relationships and friends, for some we have kids for others theres families to maintain

we move to 30-50 we are unhappy with friends, and spouses, children not treating you right, the dogs puking on the carpet, bills still stressing you out, college fund and vacations

50-80 we are unhappy about the damn youth who is rotting their brains on MTV, no appreciation for work, youth having it easy, stressing about social security, children no longer caring about us makes us bitter, the fact that people tell us that we cant drive after a certain age makes you disgruntle...

80+- not being able to function without someone hounding you that you cant do it yourself...

Think about it..are you ever truly happy? Or do we trick ourselves into believing everything is ok..

This was not a downer blog...but I was in a thinking mood after having dinner with about 10 senior citizens who were yelling at each other across the table..
